Halloween Costume

If I will attend a Halloween costume party I will wear Aphrodite costume just like the one below.

Not just because I'm The Pink Goddess, but because this is the only costume I will be comfortable and confident to wear. I love the pink sheer drapes and the head wreath.

It is quite natural that girls love pink color and actually pink is deemed specially for girls. Almost every girl mostly attract towards things having lovely pink color. This is the reason only why girls mostly prefer pink handsets throughout the world.

A Plan To Practice My Profession

I am pleased to announce that I might be starting my own business by December of this year. I am planning to put up an Online Store. I know it's never too late to practice what I have studied for 4 years in college. I am a graduate of Bachelor of Science in Entrepreneurial Management in Polytechnic University of the Philippines Main Campus. I have been selling online through eBay and I have developed certain qualities from work that will make me more successful. 

Being an Entrepreneur is not just putting up a business and making it successful. Entrepreneurship has everything to do with implementing ideas. I believe the set of qualities I own
can empower me to live up to my dreams. So let's talk about those qualities;

1. I am a good leader.

     - I need to be a good leader because when I implement ideas I will need to enlist the support of some people, and these people should look up to me.

2. I am good with Time Management.

     - I can't be an entrepreneur if I am not a good time manager. I learned from being a Transition Coach that everything is time-bound. If we are implementing action plans, time is certainly of the essence. I have to make sure I am making optimum utilization of it because, time indeed is MONEY.

3. One of the things I need to improve on is becoming a Good Resource Manager.

     - I will be gathering resources to use so that I can implement my idea. I should know to handle them well. I know that there is always a limit to the resources I will use whether it is money or time or people or something else and I might have a hard time working on those limits.

4. One more thing I need to develop is Understanding What People Want.

     - If I don't understand public demands then I don't stand a chance in whatever it is I am about to do.

Do you know why I like to become an entrepreneur? First, CONVENIENCE. I can be my own boss. I can make judgments regarding my business. I can conveniently decide on working hours and leisure times. I can choose who I want to work with or not to work with anyone at all. Another thing is because of FINANCIAL PROSPECTS. Have you ever heard the saying "You will not become successful working hard for the other person"? Unfortunately, it's true. Transforming into a business owner is not a guarantee you will certainly get more income, however, it can afford you the likelihood of getting more substantial financial reward compared to working for someone else. Make sense right?.. Also starting my own enterprise is a fantastic option of building equity, helping to secure my future and allowing me something to give to generations to come. Of course, I would want to give my kids everything they will need. Last reason why I want to become an entrepreneur is because I want to MAKE A DIFFERENCE. As Gandhi said, "Be the change you want to see in the world". It's undoubtedly more true when starting your personal business enterprise.

So here I am, aspiring to become a successful entrepreneur. I am more than willing to accept the challenges and develop my business empire! I'll start with this online store I have in mind. Here's something I made as a start. Thanks to ACDSee Picture Manager 12.0, I was able to make a simple draft of my Store's Logo.

Pink Cameo Ring

 

 I got this Victorian Pink Cameo Ring from Landmark Department Store last month. It's very unique and definitely an attention grabber!

This ring is adjustable. It has to be because my fingers were small. I bought this ring for P99 only.

  

My Passion for Music

It has always been my dream to have my own guitar. I used to borrow my cousin's turtle-back guitar to learn how to play. I first learned playing a guitar when I was a 2nd year college student? Wait let me try to recall.. Haha! Yeah, I think it was my sophomore days in college when I asked one of my cousins to teach me. She was sooo good in playing that I got inspired and wanted to be an expert like her. She taught me the basics and how to read guitar chords. During my me-time, I play on my own using a lyrics magazine we call "Song Hits". All song hits have a chord chart that serves as a guide for beginners.

I love listening to guitar music but most of all I love playing. Day by day, I taught myself how to master playing without glancing at the chords chart. It wasn't long enough when I noticed that most songs use the same chord patterns. The very first song I learned to play was Leaving on a Jet Plane. It uses like 4 chords only I think. All I had to do is just go with the song and create my own strumming pattern. I learned fast and just like preparing for a presentation I did practice, practice and practice. Patience is indeed a virtue.

I'm still not an expert like my cousin but I do know how to play. I can use my guitar all the time and just enjoy playing as if I am a member of a band or something. I don't use song hits anymore since the internet provides us a lot more songs with tabs and chords that I can use. It is very relaxing and rewarding to have such skill. I am proud of it. On top of that, you do know why I love this guitar right? Of course, it's PINK! It's me!

Most of my posts here in Blogger were done through this ever-gorgeous pink laptop of mine. I bought this ASUS Karim Rashid Eee PC Seashell Collection last July 17, 2010.

This is a special and limited edition version of ASUS Eee PC Seashell. It was a dream come true when I got the receipt of purchase and took the laptop home. I almost cried when I first turned it on. LOL! I have a desktop at home but I couldn't get a pink monitor so the other accessories of the desktop comes in black to match the monitor's color. Although I loved the desktop due to the 18.5" Acer LCD monitor  that we got for just P5,800, I am definitely in-love with my pretty in hot pink laptop. Hot Pink is the new black for fashion and a shock of punchy pink is just the thing to brighten any ensemble. So it's PERFECT! This one has has a metallic silver bottom layer and a transparent Hot Pink IMR upper layer. Basic features are the 10.1” frameless LED backlit display and an ergonomic chiclet keyboard. What's best about this is it also comes with an extra 500GB of online ASUS WebStorage. You gotta love it!

As you can see I already changed the wallpaper the moment I turned it on at home. Although Windows 7 Starter won't allow you to change wallpapers, I learned enough from the web and used a trick on it. Yes, I am a risk taker. LOL! I installed Stardock MyColors and in a matter of few seconds BOOM! It's all PINK!

I saw this pink band at Mall of Asia. I can't remember the date I just saw the pictures from my hard drive and thought of sharing it here.. :)

Sorority Life

I got addicted to this game and honestly, I still am. As I always say, "All is fun if it comes in PINK." So as SL in Facebook. I find it fun because there are lotsa pink on it. So how do you play this game?

1. You have to run the application from Facebook. It was called Sorority so you will need lotsa friends to advance through levels.

2. You can change your style and choose your hair, accessories, shoes and of course clothing. LOVE IT!!!

3. You will need to Socialize to earn money and experience to level up.

4. Once you have earned enough, what are you gonna do with all the money?? SHOP! SHOP! SHOP! Yes, let's go shopping!!

5. Since you love shopping, you will need a job to support your lifestyle. Choose from being a Dog Walker to a Best Selling Author - which I am right now. You will need to pay for the training.

6. Catfights. Challenge a member of other houses to a "fight" and earn money, be sure you have the guts and right level to take her down. You will use up your stamina points to fight.

7. Walk-offs. You can challenge a sister and see who's more dashing and fashionable when it comes to style. You will need help from your sisters to vote for you.


I am currently at Level 148 with 589 House Members. I am a member of Alpha Beta Elite. It just gets exciting everyday. Oh, before I forget, you may choose a boyfriend and make sure to pamper him everyday or your sisters will steal him from you. UGH! So, if you can't spend quality time with your boyfriend, be prepared to be brokenhearted.

BTW, I get SL stuff and freebies from Freestyle Designs. You will find this site very useful if you're gonna be really into it.. Believe me!!

You will know you're addicted to it when you have a shift in 6 hours and you haven't slept yet because you're still playing. HAHAHAHA!!
